This blog has been created with the intention of gathering information about various branches of Jahagirdars, originally known as Joshis, from Dadh village, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra; and who later acquired the surnames Jahagirdar, Jagirdar, Dadhkar, Puntambekar, Puranik, Kathardekar, etc.
